Meet Terrah LP

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrah LP.

Hi Terrah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I am originally from Long Beach, California and I moved to Frisco, Texas at the beginning of my high school career. I am forever grateful for the opportunities of Frisco ISD because that is where I fell in love with business and marketing. I was a part of the DECA organization and I knew business (specifically marketing) had to be in my life forever.

Now, I always went back and forth whether or not I wanted to work for myself all throughout college (where I studied Marketing). One day while bartending in college someone told me I should work for myself and not other people, but I had such a hard time thinking about how could I just start working for myself.

Well, he was right.

Years later, I did it in 2019. I ended up quitting my job working in the Sales Department at a major hotel. To start working for myself. It was the scariest thing that I’ve ever done.

However, now in 2022, I have evolved so much in my business as a Content Strategist who has helped over 30+ businesses with their social media.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
OMG! No, it has not been a smooth road, but what entrepreneurship journey has been?

My main struggles were, in the beginning, figuring out exactly what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. There’s so much to think about, like target market, email marketing, branding, websites, TAXES!

Another struggle was money.

Many people believe if you have your own business, you’re truly rolling in money, but that’s not always the reality of the situation. I had to make many cutbacks to my life while I was just starting out

Lastly, another struggle is always finding clients in the beginning. People typically fear trusting the newbie, lol

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
So, I am a Content Strategist + Consultant (I started off as a Social Media Manager).

I help struggling service-based entrepreneurs conquer content creation so they can consistently show up on social media and attract their ideal clients by increasing brand recognition which results in more sales.

I’ve realized many people want to use social media for their business, but they’re lacking in the content portion. A lot of people are confused about what to post and how to post and that’s what’s holding them back with social media.

I am most proud of my clients that truly incorporate the tactics that we discuss during our calls because you’re able to see the growth in their accounts.

What sets me apart from the rest? I don’t try to sell any of my clients a cookie-cutter answer. It’s not a one size fits all strategy (as many people try to sell it as). My job is to work with my clients to help them solve their problems with content creation. My sessions are geared to helping my clients create a path to make their content creation process easier.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
