Hi Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I got started several years ago designing websites for friends and over time it grew into Social Butterfly Management. Since then, Social Butterfly Management has expanded from just website design to brand strategy, social media content management, newsletter services, commerce product launches, and, recently, logo design.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The main struggle since launching my business has been the 2020 pandemic. During the beginning of the pandemic, a lot of clients started cutting back overhead on their business and, therefore, stopped most online marketing. This has further hurt, not only their own business but my business too. Having an active online presence is an essential part of any healthy and expanding business.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The main lesson that I’ve learned from the Covid-19 Crisis is just how essential an online presence is for any business. In today’s world, you really can’t maintain or grow your business without having a functional, eye-catching, user-friendly, and consistent online presence.
