Hi Edward and Sapphire, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The start of how we got to where we are is quite funny! It was the beginning of the pandemic and TikTok was the new best thing. There was a trend called “splash”, we jokingly did the video and it went viral with over 7.3 million views. At the time, we only had approximately 40 followers on our couple’s page. The night we posted our video was like any other night, not thinking too much of it. Surprisingly, the video took off and started accumulating thousands of views, likes, and comments. By the end of the next day, we had gained over 80k followers. Once we realized what was actually happening, we were honestly in shock, something so simple and being yourself went viral! Moving forward we started posting about 3-5 videos a day to keep the momentum going and to remain on the algorithm. The more we posted the more followers we gained, and the more brands that wanted to collaborate with us. It honestly wasn’t an easy road. We took breaks in between to focus on ourselves to make sure mentally, physically, spiritually we were okay! We did not want to put out any content that wasn’t going to display our true authentic self. With taking those breaks and seeing that people actually missed our content it gave us the motivation to keep going! With doing so, many outlets reposted our videos; the shade room, funnyhoodvidz , to name a few, not including the millions of people who shared our videos. With our followers continuously growing we definitely do not plan on stopping anytime soon!!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not! No one prepares you for any of it. You just never know who is watching your content. Its honesty gotten to the point where we did have to take a few breaks. Sometimes you second guess yourself, get a creative block, or even just lose the desire to even keep going. If we’re being honest, seeing those positive comments definitely gave us the motivation to keep going!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are content creators! We create videos for the world to see. We collaborate with different brands showcasing their products. Depending on what’s trending we always put out own spin to it. We are known for the different series we create, the “Thanos” series seems to be the most popular haha. We are super proud of how far we came because it was NOT an easy one. Also, learning the ins and outs of posting TikTok’s, reels on Instagram, or even YouTube videos is sometimes quite challenging.

Yes, please please do not give up on your dreams. Whether you want to start your own YouTube channel, business, or even clothing line don’t ever stop’ pursuing your dreams. In the beginning it may seem like a very rocky road but I promise anything is possible. Put yourself out there, you’ll be amazed at the possibilities!
