Hi LaCara, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m from a small town Abernant, Al where I Grew up as an only Child and raised There until my early teens. After becoming a teen mom, I then Moved to Bessemer, Al with my mom, who sacrificed so much to make sure we was always good, and from there is where My life as an adult began. I was always the one who kept up with that latest trends, fashions, dared to be different, and did everything others was scared to do. I have always had the heart to be of good service and help to people. Even putting myself second. This Definitely taught me compassion, independence, leadership, Entrepreneurship, and self-motivation. Now a single mom of 3 handsome boys who I love and thank God for daily, I stepped out on faith In The fall of 2019 I took a job in Dallas, TX. No family, 1 friend, a whole lot of faith, and destine for greatness! Fast forward… After living In Texas for less than a year in the middle of a pandemic! I still wanted more! While browsing on my social media I ran across an opportunity to Own or become a licensed and certified Noninvasive Med Spa practitioner. I immediately jumped on the opportunity. Not only could I make A career out of this but I can change lives being that I love beauty and looking and feeling great. So, I began running 911 Contour Lounge as a mobile med spa service, traveling across the Dallas/Fort Worth area offering at that time teeth whitening and teeth Gem services. To be new in the city and not knowing many people, I must say my prayers, faith, and networking skills began to pay off big time for my business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve always been told that if it comes easy and fast it probably won’t last! So, struggles are sometimes necessary to keep us stay grounded, grateful, and Determined. The process has definitely had its ups and downs. Even to the point where I wanted to give up! The hardest part thus far is not having my family here with me on a daily. But knowing they are only a phone Call away keeps me going. My biggest struggles was creating a productive system for gaining Consistent clientele being new to the city. So, I had to work extra hard to build relationships.

I am the Owner if 911 contour lounge, A licensed and certified Med Spa established in 2021. I specialize is non-invasive treatments including but not limited to Teeth Whitening, Teeth Gems, Body Contouring, Shapewear, and Enhancements. I also have a t-shirt printing business that I run on the side for custom apparel needs. Teeth Whitening and teeth Gems are my most popular services. What sets me aside from others is that I provide a mobile service, meaning You can get your pearly whites and mouth jewelry done all in the Comfort of your own home. I have an eye for what’s hot, new, and trendy. So, I tend to set trends and be my own walking billboard. What’s makes me proud about my brand is that I’m able to build amazing relationships with total strangers that has turned into loyal Clients and also good friends. I’m also able to help enhance problem areas that my clients are not pleased with that makes them more confident with themselves. So, after any service, I provide the goal is for my clients to have a memorable experience, amazing results, and to feel Good when leave.
What does success mean to you?
To me Success of a feeling of accomplishing, beating the Odds, or Achieving. Success is not always Monetary. Success is simply a “WIN”
