Hi Chris, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
So, I graduated high school in 2007 and came to conclusion that I didn’t want to attend college but was more leaning towards a trade. Barber school caught my attention a one-year course and you certified to be in the field to make money instantly not just to make money but establish a solid career after I finished the course, I went along to work in my first barbershop where I met my mentor/business partner (Cary CEE Walker). The journey and the process wasn’t easy I must say but it was all worth the time because it changed my life
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A smooth ride, I don’t think nothing in life is smooth when you building a brand from the ground up and taking risk on being an entrepreneur it’s all a learning experience struggles going to occur, losing your passion for it and wanting to give up, not being financially discipline spending and not breaking daily habits having to rely on self to get up every day and make a way for your business can get very overwhelming but that’s just part of the struggles that come with the territory
