Bino and Ben, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Kaptured Photobooth was founded by frontline healthcare workers. We started our small business in February of 2020, then suddenly COVID-19 arrived and we had to temporarily pause our dreams due to the pandemic. We continued to strive and work diligently and since then we have been a part of many weddings, social events, and fundraisers in various areas of Texas. Our mission is to create a unique party experience by “Kapturing” every moment with beautiful photography. Celebrating monumental moments is our focus. and what better way than “Kapturing” it all through the lens of an interactive photobooth? The heart of our business is to etch a space in time to reflect on priceless memories. Though time may fade we can make your moment last forever. We as a company have been very well received by the Dallas area due to our accessibility and customer service and we will make sure to uphold those standards as we continue to grow.
We’re Dallas based but we’re more than Dallas bound
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, our #1 struggle is COVID-19! Our business is catered to social gatherings and COVID-19 really put a damper on things. However, we have continued to strive and pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and market and sponsor our way to various events. We continue to have small hiccups along the way but that’s what comes with owning a small business. We’re expanding by purchasing more photo booths and expanding our staff in the next month. This speaks to our ability to continue finding ways to expand our business despite our initial setbacks.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My partner and I are both frontline healthcare workers. Our growth despite our hardships is what we are most proud of. We have excelled when the odds are stacked up against us and have continued to push forward and now are running a successful Photo Booth business. Our ability to adapt to any situation and roll with the punches sets us apart from other companies.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I believe starting this business, in general, was a large risk in itself. However, no risk no reward. That is motto we live by. We consistently take risks with new ideas and new equipment we buy. We continually reinvest our money back into the business for further growth and that takes a lot of confidence to do. I believe you cannot be a successful business owner without taking appropriate risks. You must be willing to take risks to find your true potential and how far you can really push yourself and your staff.
