Hi Samara, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My entrepreneurial spirit and the need to stay busy while on ‘lock down’ birthed my business early during the pandemic. I don’t consider myself a creative, but I had a strong urge to be artsy – so unlike me! Bright colors brighten my mood and attitude. That shows in the pens bases and bead colors used. My sales are primarily online, and I do small events and pop-up shops occasionally.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My biggest challenge has been marketing my business and converting the “ooo’s, ahhs” and “I like this” to tangible sales.

By day, I’m a residential mortgage compliance professional coupled with a side of being a realtor. Just Beaded Beadery is how I relax from the stressors of day-to-day working.
