Hi T’Edra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Kingsskid was birthed as a way for me to never forget who and whom I was. It was a way for me to reclaim my identity and power back. It was my way of discovering all who God has called me to be.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Not at all my three main struggles has been:
1. Competition – secretly competing against someone, if they are posting about their speaking event, I MUST post about mine to make sure I stay relevant in these social media streets, and honestly that’s not the case, competition stops us from collaborating with those who we are called to. No one wants to work with someone that’s secretly competing with them and always trying to up 1 on them
2. Comparison – this one will have discounting your gifts and destiny, comparison will steal your zeal for life, it will make your feel as if you are unworthy or not deserving. It stops you from effectively and authentically celebrating yourself and others. Once again in the age of social media, there are many that do the work I do but what I have learned is that God called me to do it the CROWNED and it’s my role to bring it forth in the earth it’s my assignment to understand and fulfill. Comparison robbed me of my CROWN.
3. Posture- now this one is about the internal mind, heart, and will, this one is the hardest because many times I desired things but my posture towards why I desired those things were out of alignment of God’s will. Our posture is just as important as our prayers, our posture must be pure for God’s purpose to prevail in our lives.
