Today we’d like to introduce you to The LoS Group. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The LoS (Ladies of Success) group was formed three women. Ade, who works in the Technology industry, saw a lack of entrepreneurial events for young professionals in the DFW metroplex. She partnered with her peers, Allison and Melissa, who work in the Consulting and Human Resources industry, to form The LoS Group.
Together, they were able to produce a solution to address the gap. The LoS Group created their first event series that promotes young entrepreneurs and professional development, the Top 40 under 40, Elite Mixer. Our event, Top 40 under 40 Elite Mixer was an exclusive networking event that creates a collaborative and safe place for innovative minds to connect and create unique alliances.
The Top 40 under 40 Elite Mixer was highly successful and following ending that event series, The LoS Group decided to help other business owners that wanted to curate their own events. Forming, their Event Management and Consulting company. They focus on business events and innovative community networking events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing is ever smooth! However, it was exciting navigating people and the processes of securing different venues for events. COVID happened at the height of our planned event expansion which caused to put our events on hold for about a year due to social distancing requirements.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We LOVE connecting people through our events! Many business relationships and friendships have stemmed from people attending our events. The LoS Group specializes in business and networking events. We are proud of our community that we have grown to over 1,000 people with our underground Top 40 event that utilized no marketing strategies.
