Today we’d like to introduce you to Jalen Peterson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My first-time modeling was around the ages 12 or 13. I always wanted to be in front of a camera. Spending countless hours watching NYFW and YT. I was determined to learn my craft. Modeling honestly became natural to me. My peers began to notice and ask me to model some of their brands. I decided to take it up a notch and invest in myself. Eventually, I started my own clothing brand Staywealthyforever early 2016 and my business has been growing ever since. I have connected with a lot of entrepreneurs throughout the process. Since then, I’ve watched numerous of videos, meeting with talented models, and have connected with over 200+ people. I’ve been in the industry 10+ years and counting and it still feels like I have a lot to educate myself on. August 2021, I decided to be a full-time model. I now have the ability to do what I love and to make my dream come true. I been very patient and so thankful for God and what he has blessed me with. Can’t wait to see what he has for me in my next chapter in life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has definitely not been an easy road. Trends changes constantly. Sometimes there will be slow months and it’ll get a little discouraging but that’s just a part of entrepreneurship. My advice is to keep God first, stay dedicated and be consistent.

I am a full-time freelance Model & Fashion designer. I feel like my style and creativeness is unique and sets me apart from the rest. I get a lot of feedback on the way I put different styles and color schemes together. I enjoy seeing the reactions from my peers when I post outfits on my Instagram page.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Honestly, doing what I love makes me happy. Seeing supporters all around the world show love to a small-town country boy like me keeps me going. The future is bright can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next.
