Today we’d like to introduce you to Lola Rodriguez and Yolanda Herrera.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We first began by searching dog treat options for our own fur babies, and we noticed that many of the dog treats at the local pet stores had many preservatives and were not at all healthy. With this information, we wanted to start researching better homemade treat options for our dogs. We decided to then apply the research we had collected and mixing ingredients together that were non-preservative and healthy options for dogs of all kinds. After, we began baking treats for our dogs which they loved, and then we started to serve dogs we knew and they loved them as well. Soon enough, everyone, we met at pop-ups, through networking, and through social media started to support us and we couldn’t be more grateful to have served over 100’s of dogs here in Dallas, around the United States, and internationally!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Fortunately, enough, it has been a smooth road! We are beyond grateful of how far we have come over the past 6 months from attending popups, partnering up with other businesses such as Kendra Scott, designing and publishing a new website, receiving our LLC, and most importantly all dogs have LOVED our treats.

Everyone should know that our mission is to “inspire all dog lovers to provide their fur babies the best non-preservative treat.” With this in mind, we really want to make sure everyone is aware that upon ordering with us, your fur baby will receive the best homemade, non-preservative, fresh treat around. We would really love to let people know that we LOVE to work one on one with dog families! We always work one on one to make sure we meet any dietary needs or restrictions the fur baby may have. What makes us unique is not only the product we serve but also the option for fur babies to try out our treats before even buying from us! We also have our own VIP box option for fur babies to receive once a month from us. This box is themed differently every month with our yummy treats, toys, personalized items, and much more! We really do strive to make sure each dog family that buys from us knows is definitely satisfied with their order, knows what ingredients are in our treats, and made fresh upon each order.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
We have learned that it is important to work one on one with each fur baby’s family that orders from us. We love providing options such as curbside contactless pickup, shipping instead of delivery, and always leave a notes section for parents to put any concerns they may have when ordering. We love having options available and having that open communication with everyone that orders from us, which we believe makes us so unique.
