Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Munoz.
Hi Maria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So much to tell, but I’ll keep it short and sweet.
I started my entrepreneurship with Lifestyle Advocates. LLC back in 2012 with my passion, training. I began helping others create a healthier lifestyle through movement, thus improving their quality of life. Since then, I earned several certifications to continue helping others, one of which is geared toward nutrition. Nutrition can make a major impact on one’s health, combined with physical fitness the possibilities are endless.
In 2015, I began working on my artistic creativity. A majority of my workout clients loved my nails, so most let me experiment with their hands. Well, it’s kind of spiraled from there. I spent most of my free time studying different techniques and applying them when possible. Fast forward to 2018, I received my nail technician license and created Subtle Designs by Saidy. I’m an independent artist who specializes in sculpted nails.
Late 2021, at a Christmas dinner party my brother, Abraham Bayron owner of The Primary Color Lab, mentioned microblading training. Heck, what can I say another spiral? The thought of drawing tiny hair strokes that can alter a person’s confidence sparked my engine.
As much as I love biomechanics, I had to retire that side of me to help fuel my new passion Art. While yes, there is a level of artistry with biomechanics, it can be mentally/emotionally draining. I am proud to say I have helped many along the way and continue to do so with my clients who would like any advice during their service – focusing in behavioral change. Needless to say, I announced my retirement in the beginning 2022.
Fast forward to today, mid-April 2022. I am the proud owner of Studio XXII a Certified Microblading Artist, license pending and new location coming soon. I truly look forward to this new chapter! Something about drawing hairs while listening to some light music is so calming.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Keeping a positive state of mind while trying to juggle not only a business, but a home as well is definitely a struggle. This is why I stress the importance of TIME MANAGEMENT.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As mentioned before, I specialize in sculpted nails. Something about creating a nail enhancement that is specific to an individual is it for me.
My latest venture, Microblading is somewhat similar. Eyebrows tailored to a client based off of their bone structure and personal preference.
I’d say my willingness to keep learning and keep improving sets me apart from most.
