Inspiring Conversations with Elizabeth Caro

Hi Elizabeth, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Elizabeth Caro was founded on the idea that jewelry is your luxury brand signature which represents the unique style of the owner and who proudly stands behind it. With elegance, shape, and grace.

I started this new business in the fashion jewelry industry in 2019. My passion for fashion has always been in my veins, my mom had a shoe factory for almost 20 years in Mexico, and then she started reselling clothing. When I got married, I discovered that my mother-in-law was a fashion designer, she had her own clothing brand. They inspired me to do something. I always love jewelry, and gems, so this is why I started my own journey especially in curating and creating unique pieces of jewelry.

Recently, we made a partnership with a small jewelry workshop to start creating unique handcrafted jewelry.

I decided to incorporate this company offering an extensive range of pieces of jewelry from classic to modern that goes along with high quality, design, and timeless pieces such as pearls, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc.

I love to see women with jewelry that not only shines but also that it will makes them look beautiful and empowered.

I truly believe that when you have passion to succeed in any you decide, you must work for it. In my case consistency and perseverance have been two important factors that have made the brand grow in this industry. We are still small businesses but every day we work, we push, and we learn to get what we desire.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I think like many other businesses we did not have in mind that in 2020 our lives and the entire world would change. Our business was born in an unprecedented time. We had to move from a standard business to a technology business, learn from the daily basis how to use social media, photography, website, live streaming, etc. The process of learning fast and a lot was so stressful because you cannot control everything.

I am thankful for what I have learned because as entrepreneur this is your path: Trial and error until you succeed.

Elizabeth Caro creates and curates collections for modern and sophisticated women.

We curate Italian luxury pieces with a high-quality design, timeless. Our pieces are made of sterling silver .925, gold-filled in 18K, curated and artificial pearls, and rhinestones

Recently, we made a partnership with a small jewelry workshop to start creating unique handcrafted jewelry. Our commitment is to continue keeping the same elegance and quality on our pieces and with an affordable price. Soon we will start adding pieces from all over the world.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
As I mentioned before, Consistency and perseverance are the keys to succeed. Ask yourself as many times as you need to make sure you want to do what you want to do. If your answer is Yes, keep moving, find a mentor, believe in yourself, learn from mistakes and always move forward.

Something that I wish, I had known before is even if at the beginning you don’t have enough money to hire people, make a list of them you could work with, such as: photographers, videographers, suppliers, etc. because in your journey you will need them. I think it would be easier, you know… time is money.
