Meet Leah Frazier of Think Three Media in Central

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leah Frazier.

Leah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started out as a licensed attorney in 2009 who loved fashion and loved to shop. I had a dream one night that I was styling women and continued to have the dream night after night. Thereafter, I looked into what it would take to become a personal stylist and shopper. I took a course in personal shopping and received my certification thereafter.

From there, I built my personal shopping business and began with styling the women at my firm, and then they referred me to other women just like them – busy, tired, and didn’t have time to shop for themselves. To further provide depth for my business, I started blogging to keep my clients and customers updated on what was new and trending in fashion.

The blogging then blew up to TV appearances as a fashion expert on major news channels, recognition on Vogue.com, coverage for New York Fashion Week, and reporting for multiple media outlets including Examiner, CBS Local, DFW Style Daily, and more. My view on fashion and as a reporter also led to me having significant partnerships with major brands such as Cantu Beauty, Neiman Marcus, Marshall’s, Belk, and many other notable brands.

My life as an attorney turned fashionista began to truly take off to the point where I could no longer do both at the same time and I decided several years ago to do the styling and fashion reporting full-time. I no longer practice law and I no longer miss it. I am living in my purpose and doing my passion daily and I have no regrets.

I’ve been blogging and have also been fully immersed into social media for almost a decade now and have learned the ins and outs on how to do so properly from a genuine place, yet providing valuable information for the reader. Because of that, in addition to my personal brand, my own media site Inspire N Style and my personal shopping company Diamond Icon Consultants. I started my own content marketing and PR agency Think Three Media in June of 2016 so that we can provide similar services to small businesses at a fraction of the price who desperately need social media strategy, PR, and content for their blogs.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all. The entrepreneurial has its highs, and it has its lows. To go from a very well-paid attorney to learning how to make “just enough” to pay the bills has been a tough journey. Faith in myself, in God, and in my gift is what pulls me through daily.

A lot of people say to me that they wish they had my life or want to be like me. But do they really know what that took? I’ve had to sacrifice practically everything to get to where I am today. There were months where I didn’t sleep. I invested all of my hard-earned savings and money into a dream that no one could see but me. I’ve struggled financially, I’ve lost friendships that I thought were true — I’ve felt alone.

However, through it all, I’ve learned some incredible lessons that have helped me to grow not only as a person but as a business owner. I wouldn’t trade those in for the world. The struggles have helped me grow.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Think Three Media – what should we know?
Think Three Media specializes in content marketing services and strategy for small businesses. On occasion, we also provide very limited media outreach and PR services for small businesses and entrepreneurs as well. We are known for being very “hands-on” — in a way that most large firms are not. Our pricing is also very competitive yielding the same results, if not better, than what a business would receive from a much larger agency and/or firm.

I’m most proud that Think Three Media is helping businesses to receive the exposure and visibility that they deserve. If someone has a great product or service, it’s unfair that they are not visible in the press/media or on social media because they can’t afford to have a team or strategy that puts them on a level playing field. I’m so honored to be able to help these businesses reach their target customers without them worrying so much as about cost or ROI.

Think Three Media operates like a mom and pop shop. We handhold our clients through the process and we are literally very connected. The client never feels alone and they never feel as though we are unreachable. They never have to question where things are in the process and they know that we will go above and beyond to get them the results that they desire.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I’m very resilient. I’ve heard so many ‘no’s’ at this point that I’m almost numb to it. I can get knocked down a million times but I will always get up, dust myself off, and keep pushing. This “no-one-can-hold-me-down” attitude is what has created my success. Do I get discouraged? Yes. Do I get depressed? Yes. But — after I’ve had a cry or two, I sit down, make a plan, and then get after it. And that’s the difference.
