Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi Burns.
Hi Brandi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Born in Boston mass, my parents divorced before I was 1yr old Cali/Nevada, 10yrs old till I was 18 old Missouri, 18-21 Boston mass New Hampshire. By 21 DFW North Texas.
January 2012, I arrived in Texas, as a single 21pregnant mom, who came & Raised from a single mother. Had gotten pregnant while doing college & Modeling school I started in the east coast Letting my father Help with schooling as he owned 2 IHOPs. I dropped College at 21 Years old to raise my daughter, my dreams were still there. Mom Accepted me and said Fly to Texas! So Alone I Did.
So, after my daughter was about a year old, I decided to hit up some Music DJs I knew & connections who helped me become an aspiring Model & Brand ambassador for Agencies in Texas. Right away Photoshoots, Affliction Magazine contests & continued, I started Working at Haltom theater by 2015 and getting my Licenses To sell Liquor & handle food between times when I could work. By 2016 I again had my second child same father & decided this time I needed to it on my own if he didn’t step up.
I now have a Major resume, have worked many brand ambassador jobs, regular & Home businesses & have my Promotional Modeling, Agencies Behind me ending up on my own by 2019, still working on my dreams coming true. By 2021 A single mother who’s come a long way & wanted to inspire other Females in the modeling business or Music business as my inbox seemed to Spark with artists & Entertainment business. I’ve been offered co-management positions & Events Left and right & continue to Build my dreams as a single mother of two. Thanks to Fans from the DFW/Dallas/Cali/Mass/Nh/MO/PA/FL all the way to Canada & UK internationally where I’ve been noticed. I hope young women realize they can Make it happen. My dream was to become famous since 5. Lucy Ball/I love Lucy was my favorite actress. Modeling became my thing when I realized I had something good behind a camera in high school and couldn’t afford senior photos. I did all that to keep up as a Varsity cheerleader & Graduate in 2008 unable to afford the professional expensive photos.
Music has been such an inspiration/motivation behind me as well to keep going. I want others to know, I built confidence & such behind the camera. Not just on my own but thanks to others & Networking in person. I hope to continue to build & be my own Brand as I support local/small businesses of all types as well. I grew up at the bottom & Plan on making my kids’ lives & mine better than expected. 💯
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve been on food stamps and state assistance, I’ve delt with the Extra Dm’s and messages from strangers. I’ve had to overcome anxiety & Depression & went through therapy of my own in 2019.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As I’ve started with Professional agencies & Bikini teams in Texas, I’m starting to look forward to building my own. It takes experience in the industry of modeling or music & money. It’s not free. Just like college. I have watched and grown myself & hope others Enjoy & Start to see the growth from Models to artists to hosts & The entertainment business in Dfw/Dallas from the real from the fake. 💯🙏🏻
What matters most to you? Why?
My kids, and then me & My future. I had dreams as a kid, I made it No matter what it took. No matter the Hate or bullying going on Know You got Love in your family & those truly behind you. We show love in many industries & hope to continue to show love 💯
