Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Lane.
Mark, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I loved music all my life. I wanted to be Micheal Jackson as a kid and I’m still a kid at heart. I started at a very young age mixing and playing with music. And over the years I always liked when I saw DJ’s.
So I started with my own little system that I threw together and started doing little backyard parties and gatherings for free just because I loved it. Then one day a friend by the name of Jerry at The Men’s Wearhouse introduced me to Cameron from I-entertainment. And the rest was history I began doing weddings and company parties and also worked with DJ Connections when they first moved to Texas.
So now I’ve branched out on to my own scene and still learning how to flap my own wings from a business perspective. However, it’s been a wonderful journey and I’m still loving it day by day.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Many of my struggles early on was having confidence in front of crowds I wasn’t accustomed to. And believing in myself that I had the ability to perform.
Please tell us about MLENTERTAINMENT & EVENTS.
For now, we specialize in DJing and will one day move into recording sessions and studio time and hosting major events across the globe. We will be a worldwide phenomenon.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would not do anything different for the struggle has paved my road for me.
