Angel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi Voyage Dallas! My name is Angel and I’m the owner of Glamour Goddess Boutique based in Dallas, Texas. I’m originally from Detroit, MI. I migrated to Texas in December of 2011. I originally came to Dallas seeking employment in my field of Registered Nurse with a specialty in Pediatrics with medically fragile children. I opened Glamour Goddess Boutique in July 2019. My focus was to provide an intimate luxury and beauty shopping experience for women.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the obstacles I have faced on becoming an entrepreneur and running a physical store location is consistency! Consistency is key with anything you do in life whether you’re working a company or working for yourself. When the pandemic hit and I was forced to shut down, it forced me to shift my mindset and brainstorm on different avenues to generate revenue. I decided to pivot and provide intimate private events in addition to retail therapy. You can book for a photo shoot, birthday party, bridal party and so much more!

Glamour Goddess Boutique is a women’s luxury clothing brand and one of the most instagrammable clothing boutiques in the DFW metroplex.
