Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Whew! where do I start? I started my Marketing Agency, Purpose Marketing Inc. 7 years ago at a time when I was trying to find “my purpose”, hence the name.
If I can be honest, in Corporate, I felt as if I kept hitting a brick wall as it relates to “climbing the corporate ladder”. Despite having multiple degrees, being REALLY good at my job, and going above and beyond, it felt as if I had gone as far as I could with the current company.
I’ve always loved Marketing as it allowed my creativity to speak. During undergrad, I dreamt of owning a Marketing Company, so in March 2015, I decided to just go for it….and it went!
In the last 5 years, I’ve had so many life-changing experiences; however, I’ve used them to drive my purpose. As the saying goes, “everything happens for a reason”. Summer of 2020, I went through the biggest breakup of my life (thought he was going to be my husband), but looking back, it was everything I needed to revive my purpose and elevate my business to its next level!
Today, I live, walk, and breathe in my purpose by helping other bomb businesswomen fulfill their purpose through creative marketing strategies. I have a very active Facebook community with 1,000’s of businesswomen, a membership program that has a sisterhood unmatched and so many exciting things happening in the very near future!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth Road… Absolutely not, there have been so many hurdles… everything from procrastination, and complacency to people-pleasing and overworking.
Life as a whole has its challenges that ultimately affect the business… the break-up, out-growing friendships, family, Covid. etc.

I am most known for my creativity and for helping bring ideas to life. My most “famous” line: We are way too bomb not to be bomb and way too bomb to be letting people with half our potential show us out
This quote has become a signature line that my community uses for motivation.
What sets me apart from others? Value. I am really big on being a “value-add”. I provide a ton of FREE marketing resources to teach and elevate potential and existing clients.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Find someone who can show you vs. just telling you. I learned the most by doing and applying.
Get someone who can push you out of your comfort zone… more bombness is on the other side of the comfort zone.
As it relates to networking, remember, that your network (the right network) increases your net worth! Networking and having a solid community is essential to business growth. In the last 2 years, I have become extremely intentional with networking.
