Today we’d like to introduce you to Dinah Pierson.
Hi Dinah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since the age of five, I knew that I would a nurse. There was never a doubt in my mind on that! After all, my mother was a nurse and so I wanted to be just like her. By the age of 23, I graduated from nursing school in Los Angeles Ca. where I was born and raised and shortly thereafter began my career in women’s health nursing, i.e. Labor & Delivery and postpartum. The other passion that I had in life was my desire to be my own CEO and to create my own narrative in life, as early as the 5th grade I was always apart of some sort of entrepreneurial activity, and I was always successful at whatever I did. From selling stationary in the 5th grade to selling candy to being a network marketer in many industries as an adult. As I grew into my nursing career, my entrepreneurial spirit seemed to fade to the back and sadly I began to let that part of my life go.
Fast forward to 2018, at this point in my life, I went to work came home, and did that same routine over and over again. I did not have a life outside of work. I truly lost my passion for life, during this same time I endured a relationship that left me lost and lacking an understanding of my own existence. I went on a spiritual journey to find myself hired a life coach and by early 2020 my vision was clear. I knew that I had what it took to have a successful business and to be a true leader, but to be completely transparent I didn’t know how or where to begin, until I met the Jacobi, the love of my life. Can I say a well rounded business man, everything I know about business I learned from him. He showed me how to get business credit and how to establish my LLC but most importantly every single day during this journey he has kept me uplifted and never lets me give up on my dream so I can truly say he is the only person who makes sure I keep my eye on the prize. Having this kind of support system I was no longer afraid and I knew exactly what I needed to focus on to be successful.
With over 18 years experience as a Registered Nurse, I decided to dedicate the love I had for uplifting women and my love for women’s health and took that and created a holistic self-love feminine care online shop for all women to be able to love thy self completely with an emphasis on healing a women’s womb in the most holistically way possible. The Yoni Boxx Shop LLC is based out of Dallas, Texas. The Yoni Boxx Shop specializes in vaginal steaming, herbal therapy, essential oils, menstrual regulation, fertility issues, self-love recognition, and elevating one’s own feminine energy. The Yoni Boxx is booming financially and spiritually and just like our motto says’s ” The Blessing is in the Boxx.” I decided to do it again! I will be launching the beauty aspect of my mission, Glam Garden Beauty Bar in the spring 2022. Specializing in Teeth Whitening, Ombre Brows, Iv Hydration, and pre & post-op care & Lymphatic massage for post-cosmetic surgery patients. This journey has been absolutely a blessing to me and my family. Helping women feel beautiful, uplifted, and liberated is my journey and my passion!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I don’t think there is a such thing as a smooth road for anyone honestly. I still work full time as a nurse and I have children I’m raising so to juggle mommy duties and work duties and Ceo duties is a mind-boggling thing to do, But I do it as gracefully as I can. I take breaks and I never feel bad about it. I simply remind myself I am on my own journey, going at my own pace creating my own lane, and driving at my own speed. With that being said the hardest obstacle I face has always been time. There are never enough hours in a day to get the job done. There have been many nights that I have stayed up 48 to 72 hours straight to meet business deadlines. On the other hand, these obstacles are blessings when you look at it through different lenses. Every obstacle creates perseverance and tenacity, so in the end, I’m beyond grateful for the good and the bad.
