Conversations with Jane Paradis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jane Paradis.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started Jane Win because I adore jewelry. The line originated with 8 coins, designed to mark milestone moments in your life. Each design has a feeling, a direction, and an intent to each piece. Some are light-hearted, celebrating LUCKY in all its forms. Some are serious – our PEACE coin to give you a touchstone to someone you have lost. Some are full of emotion – the JOY we feel from motherhood. We are delighted to work closely with Market in Highland Park Village to bring our collection to Dallas. Our customers become collectors and love to pop into Market to add a coin or charm to their #neckmess.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building any business from scratch is filled with challenges – daily challenges! I think the biggest was being a part of a large fashion company surrounded by fabulous women, to a small startup…it was lonely. Luckily the company has grown and we have a great team – and we LOVE being with the chic women of Market as layer our coins with the latest dresses we covet.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
WE BELIEVE IN FEELING GOOD. WE BELIEVE IN COMPLIMENTS. RECEIVING AND GIVING. What we hear most from people who wear our jewelry is that they get compliments – like multiple compliments each day. Isn’t that amazing. People notice the jewelry and stop you in the street to tell you. That feels good.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I grew up In Augusta Ga and have lived all over the east coast. Texas is my favorite place to visit, that is why we designed the TEXAS coin so we can take a piece of it with us wherever we go.
