Meet Sherry Williams of Nurse WOW Health & Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherry Williams.

Sherry, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2005. Lupus is a disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs (autoimmune disease). Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs.

For an active nurse with three small children to receive life-threatening news like this was crushing. I wanted answers. I wanted solutions. I wanted my health back.

For a long time, I followed the plan laid before me by my healthcare providers. But honestly, it wasn’t working. So, I decided to start to do my own research.

I’m a teacher of nurses so I know how to research and create curriculum. So, I created my own path-to-health curriculum.

I became enamored with IV Hydration, B-12 intramuscular (IM) shots and workouts that sweated out impurities. I put my Lupus into remission.

It’s with this path for myself that I realized I could do this for other people. I began exploring what having my own business would look like. Out of this exploration came Nurse WOW Health & Wellness. We offer concierge IV Hydration Therapy and IM vitamin and mineral shots throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Anyone with a lifelong disease knows that simply being sick can be a struggle. It’s a constant battle to stay focused on our own health. As a mom, wife, nurse, nurse instructor, and business owner, staying focused on my health is not easy.

So, it’s never going to be a smooth road for me. But, for most people, it’s not a smooth road. It’s what makes me so relatable. It’s why people enjoy having me in their homes, gyms, or businesses for IV Hydration parties. We get healthy and get real.

I do want your readers to know that adding support around you and investing in people who can teach you the parts of business you do not know.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Nurse WOW Health & Wellness is a concierge IV Hydration and Intramuscular shot bar provider dedicated to educating our patients as to what makes the most sense for their lives.

I’m a registered nurse who specializes in hyperemesis treatment and overall preventative wellness. My goal is simple – I want to educate you about health and then provide the resources you need to live your healthiest life through my wide array of holistic treatment programs.

I also specialize in weight loss management and hyperemesis gravidarum treatment.

With weight loss management, I use my experience from lessening the impact of autoimmune disease and my almost decade-long research into weight loss to create programs that work for each person. My goal is your success.

With my hyperemesis treatment, I use my two decades of experience in labor and delivery nursing for high-risk patients to create real solutions for women experiencing extensive and persistent nausea.

I’ve been a labor & delivery nurse for twenty years, and now I travel the state placing IVs into women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. I’m also living with lupus. Once I discovered the benefits of IV Hydration therapy and how specific drips support patients in their desire to be healthy, I knew I wanted to invest in opening my own wellness space.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Get a drip, honey! At Nurse Wow Wellness, we want you to be healthy and happy and we are here for that drip!

I also have a book coming out soon so follow me on my social media platforms to find out how to purchase it.
