Hi Maddie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
With love, Maddie m started off in my bedroom during online school in the height of covid. I am a very social person, and without the buzz and excitement of school, I felt lost and alone. I decided to take a leap and start sharing fashion inspiration, fitness ideas, recipes, and positive quotes via Instagram. flash forward to 2 years later, I am headed to Dallas in 3 short months to start my freshman year at SMU, where I will be majoring in fashion media and journalism. I am so blessed for all of the opportunities with love Maddie M has given me, from working brands such as Lily Pulitzer and Sail to Sable to connecting with amazing women via social media who inspire me daily!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
my content creation journey has been anything but a smooth road – starting a fashion Instagram/TikTok as a high school student is not easy – from balancing school, college applications, and the occasional comment from a classmate, it’s been a journey for sure! I have learned to not care what people say, and if it makes me happy, I am going to post it or wear it!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in sharing fashion and lifestyle content for young women via my Instagram and TikTok!
I feel as though people know me for my bubbly personality and bright, happy demeanor.
I am most proud of the fact that my style is so different than girls my age, especially in orange county, CA – my hometown. I have always loved being unique, and that includes my style as well!
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Be authentic! Be original! Be YOU! It sounds so cliche, but it is so true. you will not make it in the content creator world by copying others, you have to take a leap and be genuine! By being yourself, you will attract a following that loves you for you.
