Victoria Todd, also known as Viva Vikkidior, started doing makeup in high school. At the time it was something she did during free class periods. The she met this young lady; she was looked down upon because of her appearance. Victoria asked to do her hair and light makeup. Once she finished, the young lady smiled from ear to ear, then started crying and they talked about her story. In that moment, Victoria realized how much it touched and empowered her. From that day her purpose became clear. Victoria started her first business on the campus of Tennessee State University, glamming for clients and organizations, and watched her business grow.
In 2020, Victoria was in a car accident that changed her entire life. Makeup Artistry empowered her and gave her hope in that stage of life, it helped save her life. During her healing, God lead Victoria to rebrand into VivaVik Artistry.
VivaVik Artistry gave birth to a deeper purpose, “to uplift and empower people to see the beauty on the inside, out.”
VivaVik Artistry then has had celebrity clients, done makeup for fashion shows, private events, photoshoots, featured in magazines, offered a position for SFX makeup for movies sets, PR opportunities, cohosting, public speaking, and so much more. Victoria will tell you “It was all God!”
In 2022, Victoria Todd loss her grandmother, Flora Ann Todd, a very selfless woman, she then began rebranding.
The focus of VivaVik Artistry moved towards giving back to the community through Christ and expressed through Artistry. VivaVik Artistry has then formed partnerships with surrounding churches and women shelters to uplift and provide for the homeless and women in need.
VivaVik Artistry is moved by the people to change lives, one life at a time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey hasn’t always been smooth, neither is life. Business brings out some great strength, discipline, wisdom, and endurance. If it comes easy, you missed the knowledge that you can only gain through trial and error. It’s when you run into a problem, that you can then learn how to prevent it in the future. It’ll give you a drive on making sure you’re successful going forward.
