Hi Emily, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My husband and I purchased a Screen-Printing, Embroidery, & Promo products business, and then we decided to open a storefront to go with it. We named our store Sweet Tee! We sell boutique clothing items, gifts, and something for kids & guys too! We enjoy being a part of a community!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say one of the biggest struggles has been balancing it all- life, family, and work. etc.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My husband, Brandon & I purchased our business Print to Suit in 2018 from a family friend. At Print to Suit, we offer custom Screen-printing, Embroidery, and Promotional Products. We love working with schools, sports teams, organizations, and businesses! We are known for having excellent customer service and delivering high-quality products that serve our customers well. In 2020, like many others, we experienced great challenges as business owners. We decided to move our business from Garland to Kaufman and to open a boutique storefront to complement our existing business. Sweet Tee is our brand and we are proud to be able to offer printed t-shirts, boutique clothing, and gift items at an affordable price. One of our favorite parts about having a business in Kaufman on The Square is being involved with other small businesses. We are all like a family! We also enjoy hosting events at our shop where we are able to meet people in our community!
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising about us is that we also love to renovate homes. We are not scared to move or to take on a project. We have built or flipped 4 houses in the last decade, purchased a business, opened a new business, and are excited for everything that is to come in the future!
