Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Rodriguez.
Bryan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started a brand for a boxing page. Started going through a screen-printing company. I was on YouTube just looking how to screen print. Finally went to a live class here in Fort Worth. I finally bought everything I needed. to start my own business and now do it out of my garage after my full-time job. I offer screen printing, heat press for vinyl, and offer decals as well.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far, a pretty smooth road. Only heat is the main complaint.
As you know, we’re big fans of Funky Town Print Shop. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a small business owner. I work a full-time job aside from my business. As well as I am a husband and a father to an almost 3-year-old baby boy. My son sometimes “works” in the garage with me so it’s a hands-on thing with the whole family. I’m a screen printer and what sets me apart from other screen printers is I have a super quick turnaround time. I offer screen printing on clothes, koozies anything you can screen print on I offer.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
That I will make mistakes!
