Hi Claire, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories- with our readers?
My entire life I’ve been an organizer and even though I knew I was a neat person; I never knew that I could make money with it. I would help my friends over the years by tidying up their closets and then a few years ago I worked for a professional organizing company here in Dallas. Realizing that organizing an entire home wasn’t for me, I decided to start my own business and focus on what I loved most about organizing- closets! Although Kept by Claire does sometimes step outside of closets to do the occasional pantry or cabinet space, I try to keep the focus on making your closet space functional while maintaining its aesthetic beauty.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been fairly smooth thus far. Things were a little complicated coming off of the Covid era since you’re working in people’s homes, but overall, it’s been fun! I love seeing new closets and meeting new clients that many times have become friends.
As you know, we’re big fans of Kept by Claire. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Kept by Claire specializes in closets! We love seeing your clothes organized, color-coded, and in their most functional space in your closet. There are many additions that can be added to your organizing sessions as well. Product bins for hats and accessories, acrylic cases as protectors of your items you want to display, and certain hangers to fit the client’s needs. No closet is the same and we want each client to feel like they’ve got the best outcome for their space. I’m most proud of repeat customers! I love that they trust me to get them back to where they were before and help them to maintain their organized space. We also offer purging sessions which consist of going through your items and deciding what to keep and what to toss. I also have stylists that I work with if our clients need help styling outfits after they’ve been organized. We also take any unwanted items for donations at local shelters. We are happy to offer organizing services and products for your closets!

Kept by Claire is not just in Dallas. We also love to travel! We’ve worked in Los Angeles and Louisiana and look forward to adding many more new cities to our travel list.
