Hi Kelsi, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Upon relocating to the DFW, I knew I would open a wellness center but was unsure of the combination of services that would be provided. I wanted something unique, out of the box, innovative, effective and definitely, a combination that wouldn’t be found under one roof anywhere else. We’ve accomplished that.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has NOT been a smooth road. It’s required lots and lots of faith, perseverance, and resolves. Although the vision manifested, I didn’t realize the challenges that accompanied such a unique vision. The thing about having innovative, out-of-the-box, unique services is that they aren’t as popular as the things everyone does. Not only is the right marketing necessary to find your niche market, education is essential as well. People need to learn the benefits of these services they may not be aware of. Proving the services effective isn’t the issue simply because they are. Getting people in the door to try them is a different story!
