Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Garrett.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My design journey started when I was a child really I always enjoyed helping my grandmother rearrange her living room and decorating for every holiday. It was always assumed in my family that when Christmas and Halloween rolled around, I was the one in charge of decorating. After graduating high school, the thought of creating beautiful and imaginative spaces that were functional as well has still stuck with me, so ultimately, I decided to peruse my education in interior design. 2 years later here we are starting my journey as a young entrepreneur ready to change the world one space at a time!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been easy, most people assume the interior design is a piece of cake, however, there is lots of rejection and failure involved. The lesson to learn from this is you now know more than you did yesterday and you’ve grown from failing! I can’t tell you how many times people have rejected my designs or how many no’s I’ve received in my life.

I specialize in anything involving the home! From simple styling to holiday decorating all the way to full home renovations! I’m known for how bold and exciting I am with my design choices; I never want to be simple I always want to shock people with my color palette and choices of materials! What sets me apart from everyone else is I love to take chances on my designs and never play it safe!
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters to me most is ultimately being creative and expressing my emotion as well as my client’s emotion through my art and making my client feel involved in the process and making them feel satisfied!
