Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Agbor.
Brian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Fashion has always sparked my interest but I never knew how to really get involved in it. I had a desire to influence men in fashion but I did not know exactly how yet. Long story short, I was getting married and I had a very challenging time finding the suit for my special day. The process was not easy and the sellers/stores were not upfront about their products (suits). I knew this process should be easier and I decided to build a business that provides more selection of suits, and honest communication with customers so they can experience a painless experience when purchasing a suit for any occasion. The rest is history.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been challenging, especially as a start-up business. You have to invest thousands of dollars in materials to ensure you are providing the best quality for customers before selling the product(s). You have to create a marketing team and financial team to ensure you are as relevant as possible. Each day, new challenges arise but the hardships are what give a business its foundation or identity if they survive it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a full-time teacher at the moment and my passion is to influence any person I came across. Clothes are a statement and providing little tips geared toward fashion with my students can be the change or push they need towards becoming successful people in the world.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My wife really pushed me to start this business. I registered my business over 8 years ago and never had the push to start it. She is the reason why I am here now.
Also, my friends have always encouraged me to focus on fashion because my style can be unique or bold but always tasteful. I have encouraged many of them to alter their style or be more aware of their looks.
