Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleanora John.
Hi Eleanora, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a Co-0wner along with two of my daughters, Jovine Marcotte & Faith John. We always discussed becoming entrepreneurs; we just didn’t know what type of business it would be.
Because of the pandemic of 2020, Jovine ended up getting furloughed from her job. In trying to keep productive, she started crafting earrings in preparation for her return to work since the jewelry pieces she was in search of seemed too commercialized and not unique enough. Her intention was to create earrings in the most appealing way using the healing and protective benefits of crystals to accompany daily life.
After seeing the beautiful earrings, Jovine made I told her she should think about selling some. And maybe this would be a good business to start. She wasn’t too sure if it would be a good idea since she was still learning. I told her I would try to make some necklaces, and Faith decided to try her hand at bracelets.
The next thing we did was collaborate on the name and hence Spirit Treasure Trove was born. Spirit came from the fact that we are all spirits having a human experience. A treasure for all the beautiful crystals Mother Earth provides for us as tools to help us on our life journey. And Trove is for the valuable collection of jewelry we create for all to enjoy!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Marketing our business has been the most challenging aspect. Although we have an online presence on most of the popular social media platforms, word of mouth and local artisan markets have proven to be more successful at getting our brand out there.
And then there is balancing work life with business life and personal life. Challenging but so worth it in the long run.

Crystal rocks, stones ak. gems have been underrated and not valued as much as the popular birthstone jewelry. Their spiritual and metaphysical aspects of them aren’t well-known. They aren’t just beautiful adornments; they are also tools that help us with our physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, and etheric bodies.
Crystals are there to enhance or activate what is already within us. It’s like a silent motivator that encourages us to reach our goals.
All of our jewelry comes with descriptions of what the crystals are known for and beneficial for. We especially love creating custom pieces that incorporate our clients’ Natal chart a.k.a. the exact placement of the planets when you are born that tell you your Sun, Moon, and Ascendant, so we can provide the best crystals (tools) to enhance your everyday lives.
What are your plans for the future?
Our future goal is to eventually open a brick-and-mortar store to showcase young local artists of all kinds along with our jewelry.
We want to provide a safe environment where they can come and express themselves artistically, showcase their designs, and receive monetary compensation.
