Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Goen.
Hi Jason, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My name is Jason Goen, and I’m 30 years old
1. Born in Dallas
2. Raised in Louisiana
3. Competitive tennis player
4. Owned and operated a Nerdstogo Computer franchisee business (information tech services in Richardson Texas for 4 years)
5. Sold the business in 2021
6. Got into airbnbing townhouse property in Florida
7. Got into the art, music, Dance, and Electronic House music scene in Dallas recently
8. Enjoy traveling across the country and have been to Rome and Germany solo trip in 2022
9. Got into fashion and design (custom suits and business apparel)
10. Hosted a fashion suit fitting event at Omni Hotel in Dallas Texas, 2022
11. I lead a community in the Dallas art scene and promote it. Host some shows at my house and partnered with local talent in the metroplex
12. Gaines’s rapid social media presence and acknowledgment very quickly.
13. Continuing to scale my little empire and plan to incorporate.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all.
I learn from failure and I failed a lot. I like to stay active and put myself in uncomfortable situations to grow and adapt.
I follow my spirit and ask questions from experts in the industries I invest in and that I want to expand.
I edit as I go and don’t live my life on a planned-out resume.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I lead a community in the performing arts sectors and am all about inclusive good vibes.
Peace, prosperity, and love.
I’m most proud of living out of a suitcase and finding a successful real estate venture in Florida after the snowstorm in 2021. Successfully ran and operated to this day.
I invest in local musicians, artists, DJs, and performers etc., etc.
I give, and I get back.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was very socially uncomfortable and on edge. Social anxiety, ADD, untreated mental illnesses, and personality disorders.
Didn’t get along well with the social groups. Had some good friends that I still talk to w today, but I didn’t belong there and I knew it. I felt trapped and depressed from preschool through high school.
I was a dreamer at a young age, and I didn’t follow the cookie-cutter mentality of football, frats, bud light, and didn’t care for the vibe and culture where I came from.
I like the diversity and opportunities that exist here in DFW. It was extremely close-minded where I grew up in Louisiana. I didn’t fit in.
