Hi Daniel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Imagine an Aesthetic Center in which you could create an all-encompassing environment for a skin and laser center, hair restoration, and surgery where men could feel comfortable. I am Dr. Daniel Beck, and in 2020, I made this dream come to fruition when I founded the Sculpt Aesthetic Center, a full-service plastic surgery practice in Frisco, TX. I envisioned the ability to offer a full range of procedures for both men & women including cosmetic surgery, hair transplantation, lasers, and non-surgical & skincare to meet their cosmetic goals. My journey began in East Africa prior to entering the medicine. I directed an international business development team and through my charitable work with local hospitals, I discovered the power of the healing hand and a passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery that ultimately led to studying medicine at Case Western Medical School.
Afterward, I completed a demanding integrated residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the nation’s top training program- The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. After graduation, I then chose to devote an extra year as a clinical fellow to the practice of aesthetic surgery. The program trained fellows in popular aesthetic plastic surgery procedures for women including breast augmentation, tummy tuck, mommy makeover & BBL. From these experiences, I realized that men were an afterthought in the realm of plastic and cosmetic surgery. I set out to be a pioneer in the industry by founding the Sculpt Men’s Center with procedures tailored to the specific needs of men including gynecomastia, male liposuction, pec implants & male tummy tuck.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Overcoming the stigma of plastic surgery for men has been a challenge. Many men have a false perception of plastic surgery, and we have taken an educational role to help the community understand that problems like gynecomastia are widespread and men do not have to live with this pain. Additionally, procedures such as upper eyelid lift help improve the quality of life. Who would not want to improve this with a simple procedure? Lastly, taking care of your skin is akin to taking care of your physical body. It is just as important.

My wife, Rosa, helped to make my vision a reality when she joined my team 3 years ago. She was a successful dentist in her own right, which helped tremendously with the building of Sculpt.
