Conversations with Chrissy Bryant

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chrissy Bryant.

Hi Chrissy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
We think that our life is supposed to play out like a movie montage. We’re supposed to be good at everything, the perfect student, the perfect employee. Our boss gives us a promotion, we get engaged, and our fiancé gives us a ring. All of this happens effortlessly with no obstacles in the way.

That’s definitely not how it worked out for me.

I dropped out of college twice until studying art history led me to pursue a career as a professional branding photographer for women.

Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients who are interested in creating images that capture their essence and individualism but they don’t know where to start or how to do it themselves.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I first started out, I was constantly frustrated that the people around me didn’t believe in my potential. I felt like I had to prove myself all the time. I got tired of feeling like I had to fight for my business and my identity. While I was always running around, trying to get things done, there were unqualified people in my area getting the clients I wanted. That’s when I decided to start being more intentional about my brand strategy and image.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
When you’re hiring a personal branding photographer, it’s important to remember that you’re hiring an artist.

Think about it: what’s the difference between hiring a fine artist and hiring a personal branding photographer? In both cases, you’re getting someone who can help you express your brand in a way that deeply resonates with others.

In fact, I think most people would agree that artists are better at expressing themselves than anyone else on Earth. They’ve got an eye for detail and can really convey their message through their art. That’s why we’re so popular! So, when we hire a personal branding photographer, we should expect them to be able to do the same thing: help us convey our message through photography.

My work as a personal branding photographer is heavily influenced by my background as an artist and art historian.

Through my artistic training, I have learned to see the world in a new way—to see things that other people might miss. This ability to see things that others might not notice is what allows me to be able to create images that will help your business stand out from the crowd.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is something that happens from the inside out.

It’s not about how much money you make or how many people follow you on social media. It’s not about the number of followers, likes, shares, and retweets you get. If you’re looking for true success, it’s about feeling good in your own skin. It’s about knowing that what you do is valuable and that when people see it they know they’ve been made better by it.
