Hi Ashley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi there! My name is Ashley, and I am a permanent makeup artist. I started this journey a little over a year ago when I trained to receive my Microblading and shading certification. I have always wanted my own business, and though I never thought it would come about through permanent makeup, I am so grateful it did. I created my business called Bewitched Beauty & Brows to empower both men and women and bring out the beauty that is within us all. I love talking and bonding with my clients. I love the conversation we have and the joy that is felt between both of us with the end result. The smallest change to your brows can make the biggest difference. Whether that is the shape, color, more hairlike strokes more shading more everything! We can achieve the “look” you are wanting together. I want Bewitched Beauty & Brows to become successful and a safe, judgement-free zone for anyone who needs a little pick me up with good conversation or a quiet place to relax and take a nap while your brows are becoming something you’ve always envisioned them to be. I currently work as a pharmacy technician, but I hope to eventually have the clientele I need to do brows full time. It truly is my passion to make everyone feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This journey has definitely had its bumps along the way. As many of you may know starting a new business is challenging. Spreading the word and getting the attention needed to be successful has been a struggle. I have met so many wonderful people in the PMU field that have given me tips and tricks to gain clientele. Although it has been slow moving, I will continue to push and strive to become successful and live the dream I envision for myself.
We’ve been impressed with Bewitched Beauty & Brows, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bewitched Beauty & Brows is a permanent makeup studio specializing in eyebrows at this time. Eventually, I would love to offer lip blushing, eyelash enhancement, and freckles! Some eyebrow procedures I offer include Microblading, Soft Combo Brows, Defined Combo Brows, Powder Brows, and touch-ups! Each procedure has something different to offer for the “look” you are wanting and the skin type you have. I offer free consultations and have appointments available on weekends and evenings for the working lady/gentleman. The atmosphere I try to create is cozy, comfortable, whimsical, and safe. I create a confidential, safe space for all of my clients for the duration of their procedure. I give aftercare bags with goodies and instructions to ensure the best healing possible. I will also send you a quick text here and there to make sure you are doing okay and see if you have any questions!

I have so many people to thank for my success and encouragement I am given to continue to grow and strive for excellence. My husband has been a huge supporter and motivator in this journey. I work long hours in my day job in order to work with my clients afterward, and my husband has been so understanding. I know my business will just continue to grow and I can eventually work full-time with my clients. I also want to thank my trainer for teaching me the art of PMU at Tehana Beauty, the wonderful Esthetician I share my workspace with at Grit & Grace Beauty Bar.
I want to thank all of my clients and friends who have entrusted me with their brows and given me wonderful reviews.
