Valarie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Oh goodness, my story here goes!! I was in corporate America for 19 years- business marketing organization. Due to downsizing in my organization, I got a tap on the shoulder and letter to leave the company!
Best news ever– I was free and I jumped out the window! I started my real estate business!! Here I am 9 years later.
What sets me apart?
Passion for people and the need to give back to others. I’m committed to delivering a “Five Star” experience in every situation. I work diligently for her clients with honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm. No transaction is complete unless my clients walk away from the experience feeling delighted. My success in embodying these principles is evidenced by repeat clients and the volume of referrals I receive. My business is 100% referral — which many said you will fail, no company can run on referrals only!
Has it been a smooth road?
Oh, my gosh no!! it’s not been smooth at all. My first year in the business 2010, when the real estate market tanked! I spent hours door knocking, helping clients out of foreclosures, writing cards every Monday, listening to clients who needed a hug, and not a contract!

Yes, for sure great place to start a business. McKinney is a warm atmosphere for new folks, you will have to work to prove yourself… If I can do it, anyone can.
