Today we’d like to introduce you to Daisy & Karina.
Hi Daisy & Karina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi friends! As we all know covid was a hard time for us all. One of our full-time jobs was shut down for a couple of months and although that was scary and hard there was a light at the end of the tunnel which was starting our business. Because of having a lot of free time on our hands, we spent a lot of time together working behind the scenes to get all of the little details together for our business to have a smooth start!
We finally decided to give our business The Charcuterie Sisters a go and to our surprise it blew up!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business is never easy. There’s so many mistakes that you have to make in order to learn. We have dealt with figuring out food portions for big events, figuring out the best way to transport our items, how to promote ourselves, when is a good time to invest in building our website, and even how to balance life and work.
We’re actually so grateful for the mistakes we’ve made along the way and the struggles we have dealt with because it’s what makes our business strong today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in making beautiful charcuterie boards, charcuterie graze tables, and individualized charcuterie items for party favors/corporate events. We think that what sets us apart is that we’re a sister duo because you get two creative minds for the price of one! We both have unique styles when it comes to creating art with our ingredients so we’re able to elevate the look of our work because of that. We are so happy with the business we have built. The Charcuterie Sisters means so much to us and we hope that it continues to show in our products.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
You must be driven by passion not money. We can honestly say that the drive behind our business isn’t money, it’s definitely love and passion for the art that we create.
We wholeheartedly know that the growth of our business would have never been possible if it weren’t for the love and care that we pour into our business.
