Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarielle Jones.
Hi Jarielle, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started cooking when I was about 6 years old with my grandmother. She taught me all the basics for creating good food! I took the base and started to expand and try other cultures cuisine and mastered it
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, actually, it took a min to gain a loyal clientele and get a social media presence. Then once I got a good following, I started a TikTok page and market to those individuals. I’ve lost money, messed up food, lost clients but I never gave up
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What sets me apart from others is the fact that I don’t give up. And no matter what I can’t be duplicated! I specialize in NOLA cuisine. Being a native it’s just certain flavors we bring to the table that you can’t find anywhere else
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a quiet kid growing up. I’m an only child so it was easy for me to be a loner. I was always into cooking but I also used to dance and write poetry as well… so am very much a creative at heart
