Today we’d like to introduce you to Wilfred Obi Jr.
Hi Wilfred, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been fascinated by the tech industry. I got into the Edtech Industry as a result of my connection with young students as a mentor. My association with Junior Achievement of Dallas gave me the opportunity to volunteer and educate these young students about entrepreneurship. I saw a need in the area of entrepreneurship education and so the idea of implementing that through gamification came to mind. I strongly believe that Students in entrepreneurship education can show an overall statistically significant increase in entrepreneurial mindset, specifically in communication and collaboration, opportunity recognition, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely it has not been smooth getting to where I want to be. My major struggle has been in the area of funding and getting the right partners. One of the major challenges was finding a team of software developers that could understand the dynamics and how the game will flow. Getting content writers to develop content for the project was also a challenge. I understand that successful business comes with its challenges.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the city of Dallas. Dallas is home to more than a dozen neighborhoods and districts that each have their own distinct vibe and attractions. From spectacular museums and performing arts venues in the Arts District, to the buzzing nightlife of live music at cool bars in Deep Ellum, Dallas has a place for everyone. The diversity in culture and race is another reason why I like Dallas which gives me the opportunity to try different food.
What I like least about Dallas is the Traffic and the way people drive. When over 1 million new people move to your city over a decade, you will likely run into some traffic problems with your commute.
