Hi L$P, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
“Fresh bars, unique flows, and deeper meanings” are just a few of the ways to describe L$P, which in its entirety means “LightSaberPapi“ ‘s unique style and approach to the game of rap. Dubbed “Seattle’s W$LF”, female artist L$P makes music you’re meant to feel. Originally from Dallas, Texas with time spent in Alaska, California, and now Washington, this Southern-Born and raised nomad is inspired by multi-Genres and life experiences.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Yes although, “Smooth” isn’t exactly the word I’d use. Haha; Purposeful is better. Finding confidence and confirmation in that has been a pivotal step for me. And also, the biggest struggle.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
L$P’s mission is to ignite change in self, community, and culture; one howl at a time.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I don’t really believe in luck. I think it comes down to staying intentional in your steps and having a little faith in yourself and your ability to do the thing you think you need luck to do.
