Hidden Gems: Meet Brandy Jones of Healing 4 Autism Outreach Ministry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandy Jones.

Hi Brandy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved to Texas in 2008 with determination of completing every goal that I settled for myself. From achieving my B.s and MPA and setting mild stones for Politics. I wanted to have a legacy not only for my children but also for my community. So, I decided to be heavily involved to politics, law, and education. I started a non-profit to give back to youth with Autism.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey was never easy, while being a single mother I am a survivor of domestic violence, and I endured a lot of pain and disappointment along the way. My mother had multiple strokes and my son was diagnosed with A.S.D at four years old. So, in my early twenties, I had to learn how to be a mother and advocate by myself. With no mentor

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the proud owner of Healing 4 Autism. Where we specialize in giving support and educational resources to families who cannot afford bills, medication, or any other dynamics for their child with autism.

We provide virtual events and field trips for families who have children that are non-verbal and bed-bound. Our goal is to support families and make a difference.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I honestly do not believe in luck I am more of a favor person. Meaning I believe I am surrounded in favor because I put out good energy into the universe and I receive in return blessings.
