Today we’d like to introduce you to Chastity Hylton.
Hi Chastity, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My real estate journey began during my teenage years as my mom’s “clean-up lady” lol. She would pay me to clean her listings before she put her client’s houses on the market. I was just a teenager trying to make a few dollars to live my best teenage life. Little did I know, I was being prepared for a career in real estate. In 2019, I received my real estate sales agent license, and I haven’t looked back since.
I got to this point in my career today by prayer, hard work, and sacrifice.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road at all. The road I took had speed bumps that I knew nothing about beforehand lol. Some of the struggles I experienced starting out included: building my own clientele from the ground up, spending money on things such as marketing before I even closed one transaction, learning through trial and error, and balancing a full-time job and my makeup business.

Hylton Homes Realty was established in 2008 in Dallas, Texas. We are a local, black-owned and family-operated full-service real estate company. We connect our clients with real estate industry professionals such as loan officers, credit repair specialists, and moving companies to name a few. What’s unique about us is my broker and I are from Dallas, Texas. We specialize in residential leasing, buying, and selling real estate.
I’m most proud about how our clients have responded to our services. Our client reviews speak for themselves and have allowed us to grow our business by reaching prospective clients.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is doing right by my clients and giving back to my community through service. I don’t have all the answers and will one day need help from one of my clients or community members, so if I’ve done right by them, they will return the favor. I believe what you put out, is what you will receive back.
