Rising Stars: Meet Corry Brinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Corry Brinson.

Hi Corry, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Well, I started off being a rap artist performing for various stars Project Pat Devin the Dude Scarface but over time I realize that I had a bigger calling I wanted to do more than be an artist I wanted to be the CEO.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing about this industry is smooth you’re always gonna have your ups and downs you’re always going to have situations that occur, but can you handle these situations when they do occur is what makes all the difference.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
People have a misunderstanding about what it is to be the CEO of a label they believe it’s the CEO’s job to make someone a star this is partially true my job and what I love to do is to bring the full potential out of an artist it is not my job to make you a star that is something that you have to handle on your own it is my job to pull the star up out of you that way you do can do the rest.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Hands-down being able to grow up in Hinesville, in Deerwood. It’s my favorite childhood memory because it’s one of the only memories I have of a time of Innocence in my life.
