Today we’d like to introduce you to Moji Alavi.
Since Moji was little, soccer has been an important part of his life. His love and passion for soccer began at the age of 8 where he learned about teamwork and the fun of the game. He played on soccer teams all throughout elementary to high school.
Moji went to the University of Texas at Arlington and got his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Minor in Business. During his college career, he was always involved in the community and especially with the Boys & Girls Club of America serving the Arlington Area. He was one of the creators of Project Smile which educated kids’ healthcare and personal hygiene. To Moji, teaching children the importance of healthy lifestyle, being active, and learning how to work in a team is essential. Soccer being one of his biggest passions, he wanted to be involved with a business that had a big focus on youth. When Moji was working as a sales rep for a software company, Soccer Shots was on his call list. As he searched more about the company and found out what they stood for, he fell in love. He contacted the headquarters in Harrisburg, PA and began his application process to become an operator. After being awarded the Arlington and Mansfield territory, he hit the ground running. Moji and his team has grown the territory significantly and every season, they have impacted more and more kids. After operating for 2 years, Moji was awarded his second territory in the Northeast Dallas area. Every year, Soccer Shots impacts over 1 million kids in the United States and in the Dallas Fort worth area over 5,000 kids. Moji and his team impact over 1500 kids every year and the goal is to reach 5,000 in 3 years.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. One of the biggest struggles has been finding great coaches who love working with kids and have a passion for soccer. However, it is very rewarding to hear stories from parents about how their kids were impacted by Soccer Shots.

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. We positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through our best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. We are driven by the belief that positive experience with sports can make a lasting impact on a child’s life. Soccer Shots offers three different programs to meet the developmental needs of children aged 2-8.
MINI- 2 TO 3 YEAR OLDS
Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.
CLASSIC-3 TO 5 YEAR OLDS (PRE-K)
Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.
PREMIER-5 TO 8 YEAR OLDS (K-2ND)
Soccer Shots Premier focuses on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team interaction.
Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner. We are most proud of our curriculum and that is also what sets us apart from others. Our expert-approved curriculum aligns with early childhood education standards.
Our developmentally appropriate curriculum places an emphasis on character development and skill building.
Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players and experienced and licensed soccer coaches. We constantly re-evaluate and update our curriculum to stay current with childhood education standards.

My family and close friends have had the biggest role in my life and business. With their support, I wouldn’t be where I am. They have always been my biggest fan and have encouraged me through all the ups and downs. One person that stands out the most is my significant other, Clara. She has pushed me, encouraged me, and has been with me through everything. She has helped our business so much from marketing, relationship building, and coaching.
Pricing:
- Our Private School Programs (Done onsite at daycares, preschools, and elementary schools) usually is around $35-$45 per month.
- Our Public Park Program (At local parks) is around $100-$150 per season.
