Today we’d like to introduce you to Evette Washington.
Hi Evette, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I pretty much started off in the Insurance Industry Property and Casualty. I worked with a lot of properties and decided one day I would go ahead and get my Real Estate License. At the time I did a little bit of Traditional Real Estate while I continued my career in Insurance. Years later I took a complete focus on just Real Estate and decided upon Apartment Locating only. I looked towards this area because it was easy to me. No going out and showing property. I’ve been with my company UMoveFree for 11 years now.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a pretty good smooth road so far. I would not trade it for anything. Although the pandemic set back a lot of people, I would say I am still standing. Like with anything the market is subject to change at times, but I have to make adjustment with time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent who focus on Apartment Locating Only. I specialize in helping people find Apartments that meet their search criteria. I narrow down options for them to make it easier on their search. I pinpoint the best spots to rent and provide availability to my customers. This saves them time and Money. I am known for getting it done. I have a large database of customers who continues to use my services whenever they are in the market to move. I am proud of helping people. Some customers do not know where to begin to look and if I can provide my expertise to them, it is a great feeling. What sets me apart from others is my unique talent and years of experience in the sales market and the ability to show compassion and help others.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was Smart! Straight A student. Very involved in Activities. I always wanted to participate in everything. I wanted to be known. Everyone pretty much knew Evette in my small community. I was a Cheerleader, Track and Field, and played Volleyball all throughout school.
