Brooke, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My wedding was shot on film in 2005. I lost all of my portraits except for ONE because I decided to just get a CD made.
My CD was eventually lost & my computer crashed. I have ONE image from my wedding & I downloaded it from MySpace. It can never be printed.
This is my “Why”! Why don’t I just deliver a CD? There is no such thing as an archival digital file.
I want your grandchildren to have something to remember you by. I don’t want our generation to be a black hole in history.
All of my clients get physical portraits to cherish for generations.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My road has been straight to the top. I work very hard & the rewards are countless. I have the pleasure of helping people on a full time basis after only 2 years in business. I have been blessed with an amazing studio & I attribute it all to the spirit of giving.
All of my sessions are complimentary. I only want you to invest in portraits you fall in love with. That’s the reason behind my in person reveal meetings. After our session, I present my clients with the very best images we created. Then, they are invited to invest in a collection of portraits. If you don’t LOVE them, I don’t want you to purchase them.
This risk has made my business very popular.

I specialize in portraits that you will have in your home for generations to come. I want you to have a once in a lifetime experience & cherish the time you spent in front of my lens. In the world of digital files, wonderful service can be difficult to find. If you deliver something special, that nobody offers, there is no competition. My guarantee sets me apart from any photographers.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I believe the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward. I entered a very competitive market, late in the game. So many people start photography “businesses” without the knowledge to do so. I have met many who didn’t know what Manual mode even was. The cream will rise to the top. Don’t worry about competition. If you have the knowledge & do the WORK, success will come.
