Meet Ashley Brooks of Tailored Men’s Grooming

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Brooks.

Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I’ve been in the hair industry for about 6 years now. Decided to strictly stick to men’s hair fresh out of school and spent the last few years perfecting my craft. I’ve worked for corporate shops for the past few years, and as a single mom, needed more flexibility in my schedule. I decided to open my own shop this year, and it’s been the best decision I could have made.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Learning to balance being a business owner and mom took me some Time. Learning to not always be working since now the schedule is open for myself was a bit of a challenge. The stress of what if it doesn’t work still sits on my mind

As you know, we’re big fans of Tailored Men’s Grooming. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Specialize in all men’s grooming. Detailed haircuts, relaxing atmosphere, beard trims, and massage shampoos. I strive really hard to make sure each one of my clients has the best experience I can give them. And that they leave feeling like they got the look they were hoping for. I also like to make sure each one of my clients is knowledgeable in how to care for their hair after they leave the salon and comfortable styling it on their own.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
Would like to think it was all Hard work, and I have been very lucky to have such a supportive clientele
