Today we’d like to introduce you to Kacie Thomas.
Hi Kacie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I (Kacie) started out as a nail client of Keaira’s, and we immediately became friends. We both had always had a vision of owning a full-service spa. We had a previous joint business that flowed so effortlessly and decided that we could be business partners in all adventures. When the location became available it was a no-brainer that it was time to pursue our dream.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We have definitely had our challenges with learning the ropes of business altogether. Going from having personal suites only managing ourselves, making our own hours, and having established clientele to managing others, having set salon hours and being responsible for the employees being booked was very different for us. Our business journey has definitely taught us a lot, but we can honestly say even with small challenges it has been very rewarding.

We are a black woman-owned nail salon and spa. We offer many services such as nails; pedicures, facials, chemical peels, lash extensions, body waxing, and semi-permanent brow services. The thing we are most proud of is being able to create a safe space for everyone to be pampered but most importantly for people like us to be serviced by people like them.
What does success mean to you?
Success is what you make it. Though we haven’t reached all of the milestones that we plan to, watching our dreams unfold is surreal so in our eyes, we are extremely blessed and successful.
