Today we’d like to introduce you to Cole Roberson.
Hi Cole, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Growing up, everyone in my family were entrepreneurs; my parents had an interior design business; my sister was modeling, and my brother and I were making corny YouTube videos. Years later we would grow up to do different fields of work; my brother turned to art, and I was a self-taught chef. I’ve always had a passion for cooking, and when the pandemic hit in 2020, I knew it was my time to show the world my talent.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every success story has some sort of struggle that the creator endured, and I was no exception. I would film multiple videos a day and spend hours trying to edit them on my slow and struggling MacBook. I would then post them to Instagram and TikTok for no one to ever notice. This would go on for 7 months, but I would slowly start gaining small support and views.

I’m a full-time Content Creator and Chef; I specialize in creating content and great food on my pages. I will show you tons of different food and many delicious recipes from yours truly. I have a knack for creating appealing dishes, as well as developing recipes that are easy to follow. My work integrates ingredients and flavors from around the world, and I’m known for my creative approach to combining flavors and presentation. My content is designed to cater to different dietary needs and restrictions, making it accessible to everyone. I’m especially proud of all the positive feedback I’ve received from my supporters. I am also proud of the impact I’ve had on inspiring others to cook and explore flavors and cultures from around the world. What sets me apart from other chefs is my passion for connecting and engaging with my supporters. I strive to create content that is informative, inspiring, educational, and most of all, enjoyable.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
Luck has certainly played a role in my life and business as a content-creating chef. There have been times where I’ve had some lucky breaks that have enabled me to gain some sort of notoriety that I wouldn’t have had access to otherwise. On the other hand, I’ve also experienced some bad luck with different social media algorithms. For example, suffering my video performance, causing my viewers not to see my videos, and other complications. However, I believe that luck is only one piece of the puzzle. I’ve worked hard to establish a good reputation in the food and creator industry and have developed a style and approach that resonates with my supporters. In the end, my hard work and dedication has paid off more than any luck I’ve had.
