Today we’d like to introduce you to Cecilia Hernandez.
Hi Cecilia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
It started about three years ago; I was working full-time 12-hour night shifts. I would work up to 60 hours a week if extra shifts came up. My husband & I would work around our work schedule to take care of our kids. We’d thought if we both work more hours we’d accomplish some of the goals we had set out for ourselfs. About a year later working that same schedule, it just felt as if nothing had changed, no progress had happened in our life & no goals were accomplished. My husband and I were exhausted!!! All those hours put into work without seeing my family and being financially frustrated all the time was just not worth it. So, I decided to look for another opportunity that would come with a little more flexibility to be around my family & still be able to make extra income. That’s when I came across this opportunity. A simple message from a friend who reached out to me about the work-from-home position in the financial service field. I got on an interview with her through zoom & decided to give it a try to see how it would go. I told myself I had nothing to lose. At that point in my life I just wanted a change, I was willing to try anything! I was so desperate to gain my time back with my family. When I realized what this opportunity could do for my family, I eventually quit my full-time position and transitioned to working from home & became a stay-at-home mother/wife. This WFH opportunity has given me the flexibility to spend more time with my kids & husband work around my own schedule & just be in control of my time and money!
What has gotten me this far where I stand today is my hunger for financial freedom, the reason I keep going is for that reason. I have the opportunity to go and build something so BIG that will last for generations to come!
Also showing up for my business on day’s I don’t feel like it & learning leadership skills from my financial coaches and overall believing in myself. So much has happened over the last 5 months, it is just crazy how much can change in so little time if you just focus on being CONSISTENT!!
This year will be a year of prosperity. There is still so much to learn and so much more growth that is taking place but above all I’m so excited for what my future holds!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been an easy journey trying to grow a work-from-home business while also being a stay-at-home mother/wife & do all the other daily routine things but setting a schedule has been very helpful! The main struggle I’ve faced when starting off this business was not having a schedule in order. It can be very helpful & you won’t find yourself all over the place most of the time!
There has been so many other obstacles I’ve had to face that got me out of my comfort zone, in order to grow we must get uncomfortable!!
This business has shaped me to be a better person thanks to the office environment. We have such great leadership role models that help us improve on our skills.
We’ve been impressed with Financial Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In the financial services field, we help families get ahead financially, we teach financial concepts & put plans together for families as well. As a Life Agent my role is not only necessarily to assist a client with financial needs but to also educate them on the services we provide for them.
I believe that, that is what sets us apart from others but also the work opportunity we have to offer.
We are always on the lookout to train and develop new leaders who are looking to make extra income or looking for a career change. There is no limit as to how much income you can earn, you are also in control of your schedule. I’m always stoked to be able to share this opportunity with anyone I come across!
What do you think about happiness?
There are so many things that make me happy, just knowing that I can give my family a better future, knowing that I can continue to grow & meet the new me at different levels & I’m always excited about meeting new people who we can impact with this opportunity. Overall, I’m happy to be sharing a part of my journey with you all & can’t wait to see what other goals I get to accomplish this year!!!
