Hi Erica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
So, two years ago, while shopping honestly… I stumbled upon a Tooth Gem Technician Course! I’ve heard about tooth gems years ago but also heard they had to be drilled into your teeth so I never cared for doing that
This course however offered teaching application with an adhesive and promised no pain whatsoever!
So, I jumped on it! I was currently breaking up with an ex and needed something new to focus on and what better than my own career!!
I began developing my business plan and learning a lot through my journey as the course I took wasn’t very informative and the supplies they provided were not the best.
After two years I am still constantly learning! But believe to have obtained the best adhesives and supplies on the market.
The Dallas Tooth Fairy my business provides Tooth Gem services, Teeth Whitening services along with many other beauty services. But I have also perfected the training Manuals for others to get started and becoming their own boss or even simply adding services to their already flourishing business!
Tooth Gems are Flat black crystals or even metal figurines which are attached to the tooth using dentistry adhesive. Similar to that used to hold braces!
Tooth gems last 2 months to 2 years and naturally pop off over time! No drilling or pain required!
I love what I do because it’s honestly not a job for me, I get to meet new people, help them feel better about their smiles, and make sure they leave happy and with all the knowledge they need to know about caring for their gems or any aftercare!
Some people say they barely smile but I’ve given them something to show off their smile more or simply feel confident with whiter teeth!!
I hope to one day grow more and have technicians working under me but for now, I couldn’t be happier!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting off was rocky as the school I learned from gave me cheap adhesives and materials… clients’ gems were falling off the next day or so! So, I definitely had to do some research and find new products that were not only safe but lasted.

I think I’ve put my all into this craft. I’ve seen many tooth gem techs start and fall but I am still standing and I think it’s due to my dedication and love for this job!
